The show’s last day is now set

Universal Studios Florida’s Animal Actors On Location! now has a final operating date. Inside Universal first reported the closure, and Universal’s own attraction page says the show will be permanently closed on 3 November 2026 to make way for a new experience. That makes Monday, 2 November the last day to see it in action.

For guests, this means one of Universal Orlando’s familiar live shows is now on the clock. The attraction page describes Animal Actors On Location! as a 20-minute family show with trained animals, video segments, live skits and audience interaction in a covered outdoor amphitheatre at Woody Woodpecker’s KidZone.

A long-running part of Universal Studios Florida

The closure also ends a run that stretches back to the park’s early years. ClickOrlando reported that the show opened on 7 June 1990 as Animal Actors Stage, one of Universal Studios Florida’s opening-day attractions, before later name changes led to its current form.

That history is part of why the end date matters, even if Universal has kept the replacement vague for now. The company’s page says only that the venue will make way for a new experience, so 2 November is the key date for anyone hoping to catch the show before it disappears from the line-up.

What happens next

At this stage, the only confirmed detail is the closure itself. Universal has not yet given a fuller public description of what will replace Animal Actors On Location!, and that leaves the final days of the show as the main milestone for visitors planning autumn trips to Universal Studios Florida.
