Universal Orlando schedules one-day Wicked event at CityWalk
Universal Orlando is adding a one-day Wicked event to CityWalk later this month. Inside Universal first reported that Oztacular Spectacular will take place on Saturday, 24 October, from noon to 7 pm.
CityWalk is Universal Orlando’s dining and entertainment district, and the resort’s own page describes it as the place where restaurants, shopping and entertainment intersect. Universal already has a separate Wicked: The Experience in Hollywood at Universal Studios Florida, and its official description says that immersive offering includes authentic and replica film costumes, photo ops, exclusive merchandise and dining options at Universal Studios Florida and Universal CityWalk.
What visitors can expect
For Oztacular Spectacular, Universal has said guests will be able to move through Wicked-themed experiences throughout CityWalk. Glinda and Elphaba will both be available to meet visitors during the event, making character interaction one of the main draws.
Costumes and props from the films will also be on display. The announced hours are tight — noon to 7 pm — so the event is clearly being treated as a single-day outing rather than a longer seasonal run. Anyone hoping to attend will need to work around that six-hour window on 24 October.

What remains unconfirmed is any broader roll-out beyond CityWalk. There is no confirmed connection to Universal United Kingdom Resort, so Bedford readers should treat this as an Orlando-specific promotion rather than a sign of UK timing or planning.
