Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights is adding Nikki from *Obsession* to the event, giving the film’s central character a new platform inside one of the company’s best-known seasonal showcases. Blooloop first reported the news, and it matters because HHN is already live on Universal’s 2026 calendar as a major autumn draw in both Hollywood and Florida.
For theme park fans, this is another sign that Universal is moving quickly to fold recent horror titles into its event strategy. Universal Studios Hollywood lists Halloween Horror Nights as a separately ticketed, select-nights event running from 3 September to 1 November 2026, while Universal Orlando says its version runs from 28 August to 1 November 2026 and features haunted houses, scare zones and live entertainment.
Why Nikki stands out for HHN
*Obsession* itself is already being framed around Nikki in Focus Features’ own marketing. The studio describes the film as a smart horror pic centred on Bear and Nikki, and the official *Obsession* site leans hard into that identity with Nikki-led promotions rather than treating her as a side character.
That makes her a natural fit for Halloween Horror Nights, which is built around turning recognisable horror properties into walk-through experiences. Universal Orlando’s current HHN materials describe the event as a mix of haunted houses, scare zones and live entertainment, while Universal Studios Hollywood positions it as its scariest Halloween event and uses the same IP-driven formula to sell tickets.
What Universal has not spelled out yet
What has not been confirmed publicly is the exact format for Nikki’s appearance. It is not yet clear whether Universal is planning a house, a scare-zone moment or a different kind of character activation, so for now the only firm detail is that Nikki from *Obsession* is part of Halloween Horror Nights.
That leaves one obvious next step: Universal needs to say how the character will appear, and whether the same addition will extend across more than one park. Until then, Nikki’s arrival confirms only the broad direction — *Obsession* has moved far enough into Universal’s orbit to join one of its marquee horror events.
