Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed that Animal Actors On Location! at Universal Studios Florida will close permanently after its final performances on Monday, 2 November 2026, and Attractions Magazine first reported the announcement. The attraction will then be unavailable from Tuesday, 3 November, as the space is cleared for a new experience.
“Animal Actors On Location! will run its last shows on Monday, November 2. The show will no longer be available beginning Tuesday, November 3,” Universal Orlando said.
What Universal has not yet said is just as important as the closing date itself. The company has confirmed that the show is going away to make room for something new, but it has not revealed what that replacement will be or how the space will change. That leaves fans with a clear last day and an unresolved next chapter.

Animal Actors On Location! has been part of Universal Studios Florida since the park opened in 1990, which makes it one of the resort’s original attractions. The show built its identity around live animal performers rather than a ride system, using skits, segments and audience interaction to keep the format light, family-friendly and easy to revisit over the years.
Universal’s current accessibility guidance describes the attraction as a live show featuring trained animals performing routines with animal trainers, with performers and animals in direct proximity to the audience. That is a useful reminder of why the show stood out in the first place: it was never a screen-based production or a thrill ride, but a staged live performance built around animal acts and presenter-led routines.
